IMMEDIATE OPENING Programmer Position Electronic Courseware Systems, Inc. (ECS) seeks full-time and part-time programmers for its corporate offices in Champaign, Illinois. ECS was established in 1981 as an instructional software publisher. ECS, a leader in music technology and music instruction software, now publishes more software titles than any other music software company. ECS develops its own products and creates new products for other music-related companies. Position Description: Programmers develop new software and media products and upgrade existing programs. Qualifications: Candidates must be knowledgeable of standard object-oriented programming, applications and tools. Experience with Windows operating systems is preferred, including skills in using Visual Basic, RealBasic, or Visual C++. Knowledge database interaction, music, and graphical interface design is desirable. BS in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent work experience required.
